Narrative

"He was of the middle height and size, firm built, and had a fine gray eye.
He bought 100 acres of land about one and a half miles west from his father's
place, but higher ground, nearer the base of the Shawangunk Mountain, sloping
south, on which he settled. He was Deacon of the Presbyterian Church at
Deer-parke, some 30 years; was a farmer. The latter part of his life sold his
place and moved to Sussex Co., N. J., then to Chesterville, Morrow Co, Ohio,
where he died."
