Narrative
At 17 attended the Academy at Montgomery; then medical lectures at Fairfield,
Herkimer Co, N. Y; graduated 1831. Practiced 6 years in Tafton, Pike Co, Pa;
then to Holmes Co, Ohio in 1838, and married there; then Chesterville, Morrow
Co. Took over his aged father's recently purchased farm near Chesterville;
sold it in 1859, moved to Acadia, Allen Co, Ohio amd there kept the Post
Office. Left Ohio in 1864, one year in Kansas, but at war's end went to South-
west Missouri, was, 1866, at Marion, Jasper Co, Buck Branch of Spring River.
