Narrative
Died unmarried. "He studied medicine at Newburgh, Orange Co, N. Y. Graduated
at Medical College in New York City, returned to Newburgh, and died of
consumption the night after his arrival; he was about 23 years of age. He was
a young man of great promise and possessed considerable literary ability. He
contributed to some of the Medical publications of the day, botanical
descriptions of plants, &c. His death was a very painful and distressing
event to his parents."
