Narrative
He was in mercantile business, bought a farm near the Delaware River at Port
Jervis on the New York/Eire Railroad, also Delaware/Hudson Canal, but sold it
before the canal or Railroad were talked of, went to Wurtsboro, and then to
Lockport, N. Y. See his obituary in the "Lockport Daily Journal" Feb 5 1867,
An Aged and Venerable Citizen Gone, which ended "Funeral services tomorow
(Wednesday) at three o'clock P. M., from the late residence of the deceased,
No. 32 Lock street."
