was Cashier of the Negumkeag Bank. He was styled Col; represented
Vassalborough in the State Legislature 2 years; moved to Bangor, Me, in 1842.
"He was noted for stern integrity, and excellent business habits, possessing,
in an unusual degree, a mild and amiable disposition, and was beloved by all
who knew him."
