Narrative
He was born at Borreyville, on the Delaware River, in the town of Highland,
Sullivan Co, N. Y. He worked as a carpenter in Borreyville, Wurtsboro,
Burlingham, Bloomingburg and Middletown, until he married and settled in
Phila, Pa. None of his children had married, 1868. He provided many family
records, stating "Those Stickney's I have seen were generally of middle
height and rather slim; they married those of similar height. They had grey
or blue eyes."
