Narrative

Was on the alarm list of the First Foot Co of Rowley, May 16 1757. Was a
Juryman May 14 1760. He resided with his father on Long Hill until the death
of his first wife. In 1733 bought a mill privilege adjoining the Platts
ancient homestead and set up a clothier business on the east side of Mill
River. Then erected a Saw Mill and substantial 2 storey house.
He was a generous man, kind to friend and family.
