Narrative
Never married. When of Falmouth (Portland) Nov 16 1744 with Zach BRACKETT and
Joseph CONANT purchased land in Ipswich from James SPRINGER. Commanded the
"Speedwell" a transport vessel in the expedition against Cape Breton for His
Majesty's garrison at Louisburg. In business with Sir William PEPPERELL and
others in Falmouth; subsequently became a merchant in London, England, where
he died of Small Pox. Adm on his estate granted to his father Apr 20 1747.
