Buys land in Newbury Jun 2 1755 from Benjamin PEIRCE, Nathaniel PETTINGELL.
He was a shipmaster, engaged in foreign trade. While in London, England,
visited the Herald's Office and procured the Coat of Arms of the family. When
in Hull, England he made enquiries for those of his name, and, it is said,
found those who supposed themselves to be connected with his family. Adm on
his estate, deceased intestate, was granted to his widow Feb 16 1756.
Guardianship of his 3 children granted to his widow.
