Narrative

He was a skilful maker of gold and silver hollow-ware. He originated Dec 20
1786 "The Adelphi Society" for promoting Religion at Newburyport; with 12
members in 1817; the society died out during his life. In the "Morning Star"
Apr 27 1794 Lieut J STICKNEY invited Newbury gentlemen to join the Artillery
Company. He was ordained Oct 22 1800 over the Congregational Church, Raymond,
N. H; dismissed, dying with consumption, Oct 25 1807. His Will was dated Oct
20 1806; proved Jun 9 1808; wife Hannah sole Executrix.
