Narrative
He came to Boston in 1839, was a merchant tailor of the firm of Brown,
Lawrence & Stickney from 1844. In connection with his business sailed in the
"Maria" for San Francisco, Cal, Jan 8 1849; returned with impaired health,
and died suddenly in Boston; was buried at Mount Auburn. They had no
children.
