Narrative
Baptized by Rev Isaac BRAMAN; moved with his father to Belfast, Me, was a
student, Belfast Academy till Oct 14 1815. Went to Rowley, clerk/assistant in
his uncle Solomon STICKNEY's store until he went to Danvers 1823. Studied,
Dummer Academy, for College and the ministry, but his health failed. He taught
school in Essex, Bradford, Danvers 1823/8. Opened religious bookstore,
Portsmouth, N. H. Returned to teach, Danvers 1828. Died, consumption, at his
uncles house, Rowey. Funeral Byfield Church Nov 3 1829. He never married.
