Narrative
He was Capt of Co. H, 1st Me, Reg, 6th Div, and held his commission five
years. He was a farmer in Hartford, Me. From the Augusta "Gospel Banner,"
"Captain STICKNEY was regarded by his townsmen as an excellent man and his
death is deeply lamented by all who knew him. He has left a widow and two
young children to mourn his loss."
