Narrative
He was baptized by Rev Mr ODLIN of Amesbury at the First Church Newburyport.
He bought land in Newburyport 1778. He was Surveyor of Lumber and Clerk of
the Market and was held in high esteem as a citizen and merchant. His Will
was dated Dec 12 1826; proved Jun 1 1828; Samuel NEWMAN of Newbury his
executor.
