Narrative
He settled in New Orleans, La, in 1835; was a stone-cutter and master
builder. After having acquired a comfortable competence, and greatly injured
his health, he returned with his family to Rindge about 1855, and engaged in
farming. He returned to New Orleans about 1858, for the purpose of closing up
his business, and was taken sick and died there about Jan 1859.
