Narrative
Member of Company of Minute Men of Concord, 1797, as was his father, to
march to Oxford, Mass, to await orders upon threatened war with France. In
1799 he was assistant-chorister in new Concord musical society; in 1802-3 was
leader of the choir in the old North Meeting House. He was owner and occupant
of the old Garrison House which had been occupied by successive generations
of the STICKNEY family, and died there (See BOUTON's "History of Concord, N.
H.").
