Narrative
He became a member of the Moral Society of Rowley and Byfield 1814; had a
taste for music, for many years Leader of the Byfield Church Choir. He bought
land at the foot of Long Hill, Rowley from his father Nov 11 1796. He died of
palpitation of the heart. "Was in stature tall, light complexion, light hair,
blue eyes, well proportioned shape and features. He was a kind husband,
a tender father, an affectionate friend; of a peacable disposition, he had no
enemies, he bore his long and tedious sickness with patience and fortitude."
