Narrative
Died unmarried. A prominent scholar at Dummer Academy; entered Harvard
graduating A. M. in 1804; delivered an oration "Christianity true, because it
has the evidence of Prophecy" reviewed in the "Emerald," 1807, Vol 2, p 144.
Studied Law with Hon Samuel DEXTER; admitted to the Suffolk Bar 1808,
practised till 1820. Appointed Teacher of Boylston School, Fort Hill; Clerk
of the Courts, Boston. Lived later with sister and died there. A person of
splendidly developed manhood; with finely cut intellectual features.
