Narrative

He was a member of the Freshman Class, Williams College, 1858. Resolutions
were passed by the Freshman Class, Nov 9 1858, testifying to his worth and
the affection they bore to him, a copy of which was forwarded to his family.
Two discourses were delivered at his funeral and a memoir by Charles C CHASE,
his principal teacher over 4 years, printed for private distribution. He died
at his parents home as the morning came.
