Narrative

Settled in Temple, N. H. On the alarm Apr 19 1775 marched to Cambridge; also
in service the following December and in 1776; marched 1777 to Ticonderoga
and then New Ipswich to Stillwater; was in the Battle of Bennington 1777; in
1778 at Rhode Island; 1780 on the alarm at Coos. He was chosen one of a
committee in 1784 to build a new Meeting House in Temple to which he
contributed the two door stones.
