Narrative
He went to Salem as early as 1812, assisted in the erection of the Franklin
Building; was out for a short time in the War of 1812, on board the "Grand
Turk," and was taked prisoner when on board the ship "Diomede", Capt
Crowninshield. He died in Salem from injuries received by a fall.
