Narrative
Styled Major.Enlisted 1775 from Newburyport for Quebec service; in 1776 in
Ticonderoga; as a private 1778 in Rhode Island service; as second Lieut in
Rhode Island service 1779. Sold his share of his father's land in Newburyport
on Winter St 1795. In 1805 he sold land in Newburyport to son Samuel.
