Narrative

Named, as requested, after Dr Benjamin FRANKLIN, his great-grandmother's
brother. Received the old STICKNEY records giving them to his grandfather Rev
Dr William BENTLEY; never returned but some turned up later in American
Antiquarian Soc, Worcester, Mass. Baptized at Second Church, Newburyport; went
with father from Newburyport to Chester, N. H; then Bow, where he was Justice
of the Peace 1812/3, Postmaster etc; then Concord, N. H, finally, Jul 1815,
with his family to Toledo, O. He served in the Army; left a valuable estate.
