Narrative
Styled Deacon when married. Served 1778/9 at Winter Hill; again 1779;
enlisted from Boxford to reinforce the Continental Army 1781. Buys woodland
in Boxford of Jeremiah FOSTER Nov 21 1788. He was Town Treasurer of Boxford
for many years and was a Revolutionary Pensioner Oct 1832. Left a Will dated
Jun 22 1830, proved Apr 1835, Oliver T PEABODY executor. He had no children
and there were no more of the name resident in Boxford at least up until 1869.
