Narrative
He was baptized at First Presbyterian Church, Newburyport. He enlisted from
Newburyport 1775 as a private and was in the unfortunate expedition to Quebec
under ARNOLD. He entered on board the "Yankee Hero", Capt James TRACY, Aug
1777 from Boston and was not heard from since, as was his brother Joseph.
