Styled Major. Enlisted from Billerica for the invasion of Canada 1759;
Captain of a Co of Minute Men 1775; at the Battle of Bunker Hill; Captain of
Second Brigade, 1st Division of Billerica Artillery 1786, 1788/1800; marched
in a snow storm from Billerica to Cambridge, in 1786, to guard the Supreme
Judicial Court during Shay's rebellion, when 3,000 troops were called out.
Member of Billerica Church 1763. Adm on his estate granted to his widow 1802.
