He received a good education; studied physic, graduated at the Castleton
Medical College in Vermont in 1836; practiced medicine in Dublin, N. H, about
18 months; in Oct 1837 went to Milford where he was living, 1868. He had a
good share of practice; was a Justice of the Peace and Postmaster.
