Narrative

He acted as Aid-de-camp to his father, Maj Gen Benjamin STICKNEY from 1822 to
1829, afterwards became Major. He was a Representative from Calais, Me, and
one of the Governor's Council. He was an extensive mill owner and acquired a
large property, and died 1864 at Saratoga while on a visit to his daughter's.
