Narrative
He was a resident of Princeton, Mass, when married. His family bible states:
They arrived at their farm at the foot of the grand Monadnock, Jaffrey, N. H,
Sep 10 1777 and lived together 70 years lacking 4 days. He was a soldier in
the Revolution. A friend noted Dec 13 1851 "The old gentleman enjoys better
health than most people younger than himself. His appetite is good; is an
early riser; walks up to 4-5 miles a day; eyesight dim but still plants and
harvests; grafted apples. Hearing and memory good." He died of paralysis.
